This article explains which Curations are translated, what text is included, and how long translations take after you make changes.
What gets translated?
When a learner selects a platform language from the 🌐 language menu, the following Curation text appears in that language:
- Curation title
- Curation description
- Section titles
- Section descriptions

Which curations are translated?
- Published Curations
- Assigned Curations
Personal Curations that are not published or assigned stay in the language they were written in.
How long translations take
New and edited text is translated automatically. No action is needed. Translations typically appear within one hour of saving your changes.
If you edit a title or description later, the translation updates on the same schedule. Until then, learners using another language may see the previous translation.
Tips for curation authors
- Finish your edits before sharing a Curation with a multilingual audience, so learners don't see the older translation.
- Write in plain, complete sentences. Idioms and abbreviations translate less reliably.
