How do I search for or filter content?

This article explains how to use the search and filter features in Big Think+ to find content that fits your learning goals.

Big Think+ includes a wide range of content, including Lessons, Courses, and Expert Classes. Whether you’re looking for a specific topic or browsing for inspiration, the platform’s built-in tools make it easy to discover content that matters to you.

Use the Search Bar to find specific content

  1. Look for the Search bar at the top of most pages on the platform.
  2. Type in an expert, topic, or question (e.g., “Amy Edmondson,” “communication,” or “How can I have a tough conversation with my team?”).

Use filters to narrow your results

After you've searched for a topic, you can use one of the following filters to narrow down desired content:

  • Content Type: Choose from Lessons, Expert Classes, Learning Paths, or Courses.
  • Best For: Select your audience: Individual Contributors, Team Managers, or Senior Leaders.
  • Leadership Domains: Filter by broader leadership categories like Character & Integrity.
  • Competencies: Drill down further into specific focus areas (e.g., Strategic Thinking).
