This article outlines how to integrate Big Think+ with your Learning Management System via SCORM.
Which content types can be integrated via SCORM?
A SCORM package can contain content at any level: Lesson, Class, or Course.
How do I set up SCORM?
Request the full library or individual Lessons, Classes, or Courses from your Account Management representative. From there, simply upload the SCORM files into your Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Experience Platform (LXP), or other SCORM-enabled platform.
How does SCORM work?
The LMS will communicate a student ID to Big Think+ that allows us to identify a unique user, show them previous data, such as progress or notes, and communicate progress and completion back to the LMS. This does not need to be personally identifiable information.
What happens if Big Think+ updates content?
Once uploaded, any updates to existing content will happen without any action needed from our partners.
Are there any other specifics?
Big Think+ content can be provided as a SCORM 1.2-compliant package, which is recognized and accepted by most Learning Management Systems.
What are my other options?
While SCORM is easy, for a better user experience, consider integrating via SSO or one of our API-based integration methods.
