This article outlines how to integrate Big Think+ with your Learning Management System via SCORM.
Which content types can be integrated via SCORM?
Video lessons, learning paths, classes and courses can all be accessed directly via SCORM.
How do I set up SCORM?
- Build the content that you would like SCORM files for into a Curation. Lessons, Expert Classes, and Courses can all be added to a Curation and exported. Note: content must be added to a Curation to be exported via SCORM.
- Once your Curation is ready, open it and click the '...' menu in the top right corner of the Curation detail page, then select Download SCORM package. Your browser will download a
.zipfile containing a SCORM package for each piece of content in the Curation, organized to match your Curation's structure. - From there, simply upload the SCORM files into your Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Experience Platform (LXP), or other SCORM-enabled platform.

Note: SCORM may also be requested from your Partner Success contact. We recommend this for large or custom exports, such as your full content library.
How does SCORM work?
The LMS will communicate a student ID to Big Think+ that allows us to identify a unique user, show them previous data, such as progress or notes, and communicate progress and completion back to the LMS. This does not need to be personally identifiable information.
Big Think+ suppresses the page navigation for SCORM users, ensuring they only engage with a selected piece of content.
What happens if Big Think+ updates content?
Once uploaded, any updates to existing content will happen without any action needed from our partners.
Are there any other specifics?
Big Think+ content can be provided as a SCORM 1.2-compliant package, which is recognized and accepted by most Learning Management Systems.
What are my other options?
While SCORM is easy, for a better user experience, consider integrating via SSO or one of our API-based integration methods.
